A compact woodland loop from Niante Aze toward the marshy Lago d’Aosto, passing gypsum outcrops and mixed conifers before opening to a view toward the Spalti di Toro. The official route lists about 3 km and 250 m ascent.
This is a true loop: it closes back on its own start point, so there's no return leg to plan; the 250 m of climbing is steady rather than steep, a fair ask for most fit dogs; no water points are mapped on this route, so carry everything your dog will drink.
