One of seven circuits waymarked with a pink footprint by the Amicale Pédestre de l'Arclusaz around Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny, also signed as a trail-running loop. It climbs through the forest above the village to a belvedere sweeping from Mont Blanc and the Beaufortain round to the Grand Arc, Lauzière, Belledonne and Chartreuse, then returns via Mont Benoit, the col du Taccon and the Noiriat hamlet. Dog-friendly; not to be confused with the Belvédère de la Chambotte above the Lac du Bourget.

Good to know

Dogs are welcome; keep the leash on near pastures and through the village, the standard in the Bauges regional park. Follow the pink footprints in the signed direction, the loop is meant to be walked one way. One fountain is mapped at km 0.9, and the climb is honest for its short length, so pace older dogs.
